Greetings everyone! I’m Lalita, a senior at Hanova, and honored to be HANMUN’s Secretary General this year.

MUN can be quite daunting at first, especially with all the “no personal pronouns” rule and challenging POIs —we’ve all dreaded those, trust me. However, everyone naturally goes through this stage; debate and challenges are essential in reaching a solution and personal growth. And tending to our annual theme of ‘Intercontinental Growth of Nature,’ we aim to compromise for the well-being of our planet, which results in OUR well-being.

I’m so excited for what HANMUN III will bring to all of us, and I hope it’ll be as memorable and engaging as that time one delegate started eating his lunch mid-debate (please don’t do that)!!

I am an experienced MUN delegate and chair (since 2023), having competed in conferences like DAISMUN and CISSMUN and earned an Honorable Mention at MUNOX, among other achievements. However, beyond any gavels or awards, I believe the true focus should always be on the process. Those experiences have provided me with the real makers of success—skills in negotiation, public speaking, and crisis management—rather than just the markers of it.

As a founder of HANMUN, my goal has been to help build a platform for others to develop those same competencies and truly enjoy 'MUNing'.

You might wonder how. Well, with a classic MUN quote: "I like tea, sweet tea, green tea... but you know what my favorite 'T' is? SOVEREIGNTY." I hope you can find joy in even a boring session—it’s great practice for finding the interesting bits in real life, too.

This is Amy Lu from Year 12. I am currently the head of marketing in MUN core team. Although it is the first time that I joined MUN, the idea of discussing and knowing about global issues and societal issues, as well as how to solve them, has attracted me for a long time. I am studying Visual Arts and Design, exploring how design can be used to solve problems or community issues.

 By joining MUN, I hope I can use my abilities to further expand on marketing, further learning, collaborate, and learning about the world. From a personal view, MUN is more than just for discussions; it is a program for cultivating future change-makers, finding, and trying to improve social issues.

We, my partners, Miranda Gabriela and Abylaikhan Bakytsultan, and I will try our best to manage the marketing department.

My name is Victoria Park, and I am a Year 12 Hanova student currently serving as the Head of External Relations for Hanova Model United Nations (HANMUN). In this role, I am responsible for maintaining clear and professional communication between HANMUN and our partner schools, guests, and external participants.

My work includes drafting and sending official invitations, writing follow-up emails, and replying to invitations after discussion with the MUN team. I also prepare short descriptions to introduce HANMUN to other schools, design surveys to gather feedback, and help ensure that our outreach reflects both professionalism and the spirit of collaboration. By coordinating these communications, I aim to build strong relationships that support the success of our conference and encourage meaningful engagement among participants.

MUN is an opportunity to develop skills in diplomacy, leadership, and teamwork, and I believe that the role of External Relations is central to creating connections that bring diverse perspectives together. I’m Martin, and I’m honored to be serving as the Head of Logistics and Operations at this year’s conference. For me, MUN has always been more than just debate or resolutions—it’s about creating a space where ideas can flow freely and every delegate has the opportunity to shine.

As Head of Logistics and Operations, I take pride in making sure every detail behind the scenes works seamlessly. From coordinating schedules to ensuring smooth transitions between sessions. My goal is to help you focus on engaging in meaningful discussions, building confidence, and connecting with fellow delegates without worrying about the technicalities.

it’s also about the teamwork, resilience, and friendships formed along the way. My goal is that when HANMUN III concludes, you leave not only with stronger skills but also with memories of the teamwork and connections that made it all possible.
